Biscuitville names VP of people excellence

Biscuitville Fresh Southern has named Jess Williams vice president of people excellence, where she will focus on the company's talent management, organizational development and functional capability needed to support continued growth, according to a company press release.
 
Prior to joining Biscuitville, Williams was the director of human resources for UPM Raflatac's Americas Region and Global Films Strategic Business Unit. Earlier in her career, Williams served as the director of human resources for B/E Aerospace's Seating Products Group. Prior to that, she worked in human resources for General Electric and Honeywell International.
 
"We're thrilled that Jess is joining Biscuitville to lead our People Excellence team during a period of rapid growth for our company," Biscuitville President Kathie Niven said in the release. "She has extensive experience building high performance engaged teams and is an energizing business leader with a proven track record leading and supporting large and complex organizations. I'm looking forward to working with Jess as she uses her talent to continue building a strong team for Biscuitville."
 
Williams received a bachelor's degree in communications and a master's degree in human resources and industrial relations from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
