Billy Sims BBQ opening in Enid, Oklahoma

A grand opening celebration, with an appearance by Founder Bill Sims, a former football player for the Detroit Lions and Heisman Trophy winner, is planned for Dec. 6.

Billy Sims BBQ is opening its first Enid, Oklahoma location today at 3518 W. Owen K Garriott Road. A grand opening celebration, with an appearance by Founder Bill Sims, a former football player for the Detroit Lions and Heisman Trophy winner, is planned for Dec. 6.

"Oklahoma is our home base and we’ve had our eye on opening in Enid for a long time," said Jeff Jackson, president of Billy Sims BBQ. "Oklahomans have come to love Billy Sims BBQ and we are excited to join the Enid community."

Founded by Billy Sims and Jackson, the brand now has 46 locations across five states.
