BIBIBOP Asian Grill deploys cloud-based POS system

The build-your-own Korean food concept required a POS solution with flexible order entry options that would be both fast and easy to maintain.

Employees of BIBIBOP Asian Grill now have a quick and easy way to handle customer orders, thanks to the Ohio-based chain’s deployment of the PAR Brink POS software and PAR EverServ 7200 terminal with 12-inch customer-facing displays, said Mike Voshell, director Information Technology at BIBIBOP.

"Our employees love the easy-to-use system, and Brink has increased our speed of service by including order entry, tender and confirmation all on one screen," he said. "We look forward to an ongoing partnership with PAR to continue to improve the BIBIBOP customer experience."

The build-your-own Korean food concept required a POS solution with flexible order entry options that would be both fast and easy to maintain, according to a company press release. The ability to deploy an online and mobile ordering module that is built into the POS was critical to optimizing the efficiency of their operations, Voshell said. The chain was also looking for a cloud-based solution for real-time access to data from anywhere with Internet access for greater visibility into operations. The cloud automatically updates all terminals and online ordering databases to ensure the most current menu items are being offered and enables scheduled reporting and distribution to its management team, Voshell said.

The chain is also deploying an optional 12-inch LCD customer-facing display for order confirmation and advertising, according to the release.
