Bennigan's Grill & Tavern introduces new menu

New Menu Focuses on Food Photography, More Contemporary Look.

DALLAS, Oct 10, 2005 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Bennigan's Grill & Tavern has redesigned their menu with a newer, contemporary look, which includes a more modern take on the food photography. "The physical changes to the menu are based on customer feedback," said Clay Dover, VP of Marketing, Bennigan's. "Our guests enjoy looking at pictures of the food they're ordering, so we added them back into the menu."
 
Known for such classics as the Monte Cristo and the Kilkenny's Country Chicken Salad, Bennigan's has also added several new items to their menu, as well as expanded their popular Mix & Match categories.

The Mix & Match Entrees give guests the opportunity to choose their own grilled combos. "We've expanded our very successful Mix & Match category. Now our guests can choose from either two or three items, plus a side item of their choice," said Dover. Among the selections are "Oh Baby" Back Ribs, Fire-Grilled Top Sirloin, Cajun Shrimp Skewer, Southwest Grilled Chicken Breast, Cajun Salmon and Tempura Shrimp.

Along with the expansion of the Mix & Match Entrees, Bennigan's has also created the Mix & Match Dessert category. "We allow our guests to choose their appetizers, and their entrées, why not their desserts?" said Dover. Guests can choose either two or three mouthwatering desserts to top of their meal.

Bennigan's new menu includes 3 new chicken sandwiches. The new Grilled Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich, chicken breast covered with ham, Provolone cheese and fresh tomatoes and lettuce and the new Grilled BBQ Chicken Sandwich, chicken breast with crispy bacon, Cheddar cheese and tangy BBQ sauce are just two of the offerings.

Bennigan's has also introduced two new burgers. The spicy Fajita Burger with Cheddar, jalapenos, pico de gallo and guacamole, and the Philly Cheeseburger, complete with grilled peppers, grilled onions, mushrooms and Provolone cheese.

As more families are dining out today, Bennigan's continues to focus on serving young guests. In October, Bennigan's is introducing a new kids program, "B-Kids". This program encourages kids to B-Smart, B-Fit, B-Fun and B-Kind. The first focus of this program, B-Smart, starts in October and centers around a space theme.
