Ben & Jerry's seeks flavor developer

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. — Ben & Jerry's is seeking a full-time, qualified product developer to create the next generation of funky, chunky, ice cream concoctions at its headquarters in South Burlington, Vt., the company has announced.
Known as "Flavor Gurus," Ben & Jerry's product developers are the masterminds behind the famous ice cream flavors, including Chubby Hubby, Chunky Monkey and Half Baked. When not in the lab, Flavor Gurus travel the world in search of unique ingredients and flavors to create the ice cream concepts for which the company is famous.
Applicants must meet the necessary qualifications that include:
- A B.S. degree in Dairy Science, Food Science, Food Chemistry, or related field
- 1 to 3 years of related experience in the frozen dessert or food manufacturing industry
- Proven experience in project management and new product creation
- Ability to consume dairy products, and a wide range of food products some of which may cause allergic reactions, if allergic to dairy and/or food products
