Houston-based Bellagreen has opened a new prototype concept in Vintage Marketplace in Houston, marking the company's sixth opening. Formerly called Ruggles Green, the concept recently rebranded and will update existing locations to the new prototype look by end of year, according to a press release.
As part of Houston's first Certified Green Restaurant company, the new location will continue Bellagreen's mission of minimizing its ecological footprint through water-saving devices, alternate power sources and green practices that work in harmony with the environment, Morgan said.
"Our rebranding was launched to reflect our core value of creating beautiful food while striving to make the world a more beautiful place," Jason Morgan, CEO of Bellagreen, said in the release.
The 3,200-square-foot restaurant prototype features an open kitchen and a contemporary dining area with warm wood, weathered bronze, punched metal and moss accents.
Repurposed elements were incorporated into light fixtures, tabletops and wall features to align with the brand's mission to tread lightly, Morgan said.
The restaurant interior accommodates 81 patrons, and an outdoor patio seats an additional 58.
Like other Bellagreen locations, the new store also offers catering services.
"As the holiday season approaches, we look forward to providing beautifully catered food that can be modified for guests with gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan diets," said Piper Heinrich Sais, area catering manager of Bellagreen. "We believe in sharing the joy of eating well and providing a variety of options, so every person in your group can enjoy a finer dining meal."
