Beef-a-Roo is developing three locations in southern Wisconsin using a modular container concept that costs $200,000 and reduces labor to only three to four employees.
Next Brands, a manager and growth accelerator of food franchise brands, is leading the rollout by using low-cost shipping containers to quickly open complete, fully operating restaurant locations and cutting development time by half.
"We are excited about our continued growth and cannot wait to introduce new guests to Beef-a-Roo in Wisconsin," Austin Capoferi, president of Next Brands, said in a company press release. "With the inventive modular locations, it has helped us be more strategic in our growth and expand to new markets effectively. With the three new locations, it will offer guests a unique dining experience mixing the history of Beef-a-Roo with the cutting-edge modular restaurant."
Next Brands plans to open up to 10 Beef-a-Roo locations.
Founded 55 years ago, Beef-A-Roo has 17 locations across the Midwest.
