Beautiful Brands signs another concept to its franchise roster

August 25, 2009

Beautiful Brands International has signed Tulsa-based restaurant Cafe Olé to its portfolio of restaurants to market and franchise worldwide. The agreement marks the second casual dining restaurant to join the Beautiful Brands franchise portfolio.

The agreement between the owners of Cafe Olé, Candy Dunn and Paula Underwood, and Beautiful Brands International will utilize BBI's organizational and support system to market and franchise the brand on a national and global scale. BBI's support will include marketing, real estate, architecture, legal, franchise sales and other aspects of franchise development.

Cafe Olé will be positioned as a casual dining, Southwest, and Santa Fe style restaurant, with an average ticket sale of $20 for lunch and $35 for dinner. The concept was founded in 1987 in Tulsa's Brookside area. The southwestern style menu features the founder's hand-made blue corn stack enchiladas, salsa-marinated Albuquerque chicken with jalapeno cornbread and fresh squeezed lime juice margaritas.

Cafe Olé is one of 10 concepts marketed and developed by Beautiful Brands International. Franchised brands include Camille's Sidewalk Café, Coney Beach, Caz's Chowhouse, Rex's Chicken, FreshBerry Frozen Yogurt Café, Greenz, Kyro Pizza, Dixie Cream Donuts, and The Crusty Croissant.
