Beautiful Brands partners with donut concept

TULSA, Okla. — Beautiful Brands International, the developer of Camille's Sidewalk Café, Coney Beach and FreshBerry Frozen Yogurt Cafe, has signed a deal with Tulsa-based Daylight Donut Flour Co., parent company of Dixie Cream Donuts, to franchise and market the Dixie Cream Donuts brand.
The agreement between Dixie Cream Donuts and Beautiful Brands will utilize BBI's organizational system and support to expand the Dixie Cream Donuts brand. BBI support will include product development, marketing, real estate, architecture, legal, franchise sales and other aspects of franchise development.
The first corporate store will open in spring 2009.
Dixie Cream Donuts was founded in 1922 in Dallas. At its peak, Dixie Cream had 400 stores across the country. Daylight Donut Flour Co. bought Dixie Cream Donuts in 2005.
