Beautiful Brands adds Raw Sushi to franchise lineup

Beautiful Brands International has announced the addition of Tulsa-based In the Raw to its portfolio of restaurants to market and franchise worldwide. The agreement marks the first and only sushi restaurant to join Beautiful Brands.
 
The agreement between In the Raw Sushi and Beautiful Brands International will utilize BBI's organizational and support system to market and franchise the brand on a national and global scale. BBI's support will include marketing, real estate, architecture, legal, franchise sales, and other aspects of franchise development.
 
In the Raw will be positioned as a casual dining, sushi style bistro with a footprint of about 3,000 square feet or less depending on accommodations. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner and has an average ticket sale of $18 per person for lunch and $34 per person for dinner.

Greg Hughes started In the Raw in 1998, adding his wife, Tara, to his team in 2002. The concept has since grown from a 125-seat restaurant in the Brookside area of Tulsa to five successful stores throughout Oklahoma.
 
In the Raw is one of 14 concepts marketed and developed by Beautiful Brands International. Other franchised brands include Camille's Sidewalk Café, Rex Chicken, Caz's Chowhouse, FreshBerry Frozen Yogurt Café, Café Ole, Greenz Salads, Kyro Pizza, Dixie Cream Donut Co., Sonny Bryan's Smokehouse, The Bread and Butter Bistro, and St. Michael's Alley.
