Barberitos treating teachers to free meal

A Barberitos location in Watkinsville, Ga., is offering a free meal on Jan. 2 to any Oconee County teacher with an ID badge.

The location's owner, David Weeks, has been a member of the Oconee County Board of Education for the past eight years and is hosting the promotion to show appreciation to the teachers in the district, according to a news release.

Barberitos offers Tex-Mex cuisine including a variety of burritos, tacos, salads, quesadillas and nachos made to order. Barberitos has 30 restaurant franchise locations in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Florida.
