Barberitos today launched its month-long breast cancer awareness campaign to help raise money for the cause. All Barberitos locations are hosting a Breast Cancer Awareness Percentage Day today, where 10 percent of all sales will go to local breast cancer organizations. Pink chips will also be served all day to show support for the cause, according to a company press release.
The chain is selling breast-cancer themed T-shirts, featuring the slogan "Know Your Roll," with 100 percent of those profits going to local organizations benefiting breast cancer research. In addition, donations are being accepted at the cash register or online at Barberitos.com.
"We couldn't be happier to help support such a great cause," said Downing Barber, founder and CEO of Barberitos. "It's our philosophy to be involved and give back to the community in any way we can."
