New Jersey residents will no longer have to rely on "New York-Style bagels," according to Bagel Boss Founder Adam Rosner, who has tapped NJ residents Edward and Sophia Asante to open the chain's 14th location and first in New Jersey in Teaneck. The chain has been serving hand-sliced master-smoked fish, salads and black and white cookies since it was founded in 1975 in New York and is expanding to Jersey.

Bagel Boss bagels are made and formed in New York by fifth and sixth-generation bagel bakers, and baked fresh on premise in New Jersey.

"Our commitment to providing authentic New York bagels and gourmet coffee, coupled with our food innovation and extraordinary customer service places us in a prime position for future growth in and out of New York," said Rosner, a fifth-generation bagel and bialy baker.

Bagel Boss of Teaneck is Kosher and open Sunday through Friday and closed on Saturday.
