Au Bon Pain opens Washington, D.C., catering facility

BOSTON — Au Bon Pain has announced the opening of a centralized catering facility in Washington, D.C., designed to help the company expand its catering business and grow bakery-café operations in the area by serving as a central commissary for smaller locations.
At the new facility, Au Bon Pain will be able to provide full-service catering for events of up to 5,000 guests. In addition, Au Bon Pain will offer more customized menu options for catered events.
The company offers catering for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
