Atlanta Bread opens full-service concept

SMYRNA, Ga. — Atlanta Bread Company recently opened its first full-service restaurant — Zaria Café and Bakery.
The first location opened in Vinings Jubilee. Officials said 10 to 15 will open throughout the Southeast over the next three years.
Jerry Couvaras, president of Atlanta Bread, said Zaria combines fast-casual dining with full service.
"Our research shows that today's consumers are looking for flavorful food quickly, but with attentive table service," Couvaras said.
Signature items will include:
- Breakfast: Bananas Foster French Toast, Chocolate Chip Whole Wheat Pancakes and Omelet Pomodoro.
- Lunch: Warm soups and crisp salads; paninis and innovative sandwiches served on fresh artisan breads including foccacia and ciabatta.
- Dinner: Tantalizing bistro entrees such as Pecan Crusted Chicken and
- Mediterranean Mahi Mahi, along with flavorful starters, salads, and sandwiches.
To complement Zaria's food offerings, the restaurant will also feature an extensive wine and beer selection. Customers can dine-in or order from the counter and take a meal home. Zaria will also offer freshly baked breads, desserts and a bakery counter for customers to carry-out items.
