Arizona-based food and juice restaurant Grabbagreen will expand its footprint into the eastern U.S. with a 34-store development agreement with Trindel Investments, according to a company press release. The new franchise partner's first location is slated to open in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Grabbagreen, which serves organic food items, antibiotic and hormone-free beef, poultry, fresh-pressed juice and whole food smoothies, has also announced multi-unit deals in Dallas and Phoenix since it launched its franchise efforts in April. The chain has three company-owned locations in Scottsdale and Phoenix.
"The East Coast store agreement is a result of our continued hard work to move forward with our franchise model," said Kim Cramton, VP of operations and franchise development, who has 25 years of experience in opening over 1,200 franchises for a national brand. "I'm happy to partner with Trindel Investments. Paul and Julie Trindel share our passion and enthusiasm to bring healthy food to people, fast."
Keely Newman, CEO and founder of Grabbagreen, said the agreements give the chain the opportunity to show more of the country what Grabbagreen is all about. "Healthy food, fast, that tastes great. We are excited to fulfill the Carolina's need for clean food, great juice and smoothies," Newman said.
