ARHI acquires Muscle Maker Grill

California-based Muscle Maker Grill has a new owner in Muscle Maker Inc.

California-based Muscle Maker Grill has a new owner in Muscle Maker Inc., an affiliated company of American Restaurant Holdings Inc., according to a company press release. ARHI, which also owns and operates several other restaurant concepts, including Fronteras Mexican Grill, Fresca’s Mexican Grill, Canyon Fireside Grille and JoJo’s Pizza Kitchen, has signed the deal that will help Muscle Maker Grill better support its current franchisees. Plans also include increasing the number of corporate-owned stores and expanding into new and existing markets, according to the release.

“Our team is thrilled to partner with American Restaurant Holdings and feels that they can provide significant capital to assist in the growth of the Muscle Maker Grill brand,” said Rod Silva, founder of Muscle Maker Grill.

Tim M. Betts, CEO of American Restaurant Holdings Inc., said he plans to build upon the work that Silva has already accomplished.

“Our priorities are to work closely with our current franchisees, continue franchise growth and development and open more corporate locations in both new and existing markets,” Betts said. “We look forward to continuing the expansion of the Muscle Maker Grill brand nationwide.”
