Afters Ice Cream expanding Cali footprint

Afters Ice Cream is opening in Woodland Hills, California, in Westfield Topanga’s The Village Shopping Center. The grand opening festivities start at 8 p.m.,with the first 50 customers receiving a free Afters Ice Cream "Anti Diet Diet Club" windbreaker bomber jacket.

“We’re excited to celebrate our first opening of the year with the newest Afters Ice Cream in Woodland Hills and introduce them to our one-of-a-kind ice cream" CEO and Co-founder Scott Nghiem, said in a company press release. Ngheim plans to open 10 more locations this year in California.

"The cult following we have has been so good to us over the years, and we're looking forward to introducing Woodland Hills residents and beyond to our unique dessert experience," he said. 

Afters Ice Cream, known for its Milky Bun — a handcrafted ice cream-stuffed warm doughnut  — first opened in 2014, and now has 19 locations in Southern California with several additional planned openings in 2018, according to the release.
