Acai Express reaches east coast

Acai Express plans to expand to New York and New Jersey with the help of Franchise Growth Solution, according to a recent company press release. The chain, which serves nutrition-rich meals for active and adventurous consumers and was founded in 2013, in Puerto Rico, is expecting 25 locations to open by 2020.

"While research has shown that Americans are willing to pay more for healthier foods, at Acai Express they don’t have to," Founder Hector Westerband, said in the release.
