9-patty burger now on Jake's Wayback menu

Jake's Wayback Burgers has added its 1980-calorie Triple, Triple burger ($13) to the menu permanently as of March 1.

Check out this video posted on YouTube of customers trying to finish the massive burger during the chain's annual Burger eating contest. The winner finished it in 1:51, according to Gillian Maffeo, the chain's director of marketing.
Several units are now testing smaller versions of the contests, where customers can come in on any given day and try to finish the burger to receive prizes.

Since it began franchising in 2008, Jake's has more than 70 units open in 15 states and has also inked deals to soon launch in Colorado, Georgia, Minnesota, Virginia and the United Arab Emirates.
