1000 Degrees Neapolitan Pizza announced it is opening its first North Dakota store Thursday in Grand Forks. The new restaurant is located at 951 S. 42nd St., next to the Baymont Inn & Suites, according to a company press release
To celebrate the new restaurant, the first 10 guests through the doors at 11 a.m. Thursday will win free pizza for a year. In addition, all guests who visit the grand opening between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. and like 1000 Degrees on Facebook, follow on Instagram orTwitter, will receive a free 10-inch pizza of their choice.
The Grand Forks 1000 Degrees location is owned and operated by Mark Connelly and Nadia Grosskreutz. In addition to serving Neapolitan pizza, there will be a variety of beer and wine and gelato.
"We saw Grand Forks as a relatively untapped market for authentic Neapolitan-style pizza," Connelly said. "We're looking forward to opening our doors and sharing our love for pizza with the community."
1000 Degrees in Grand Forks is open from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. until 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday.
"1000 Degrees is on fire and we’re certainly heating up Grand Forks with the opening of our first North Dakota location," said Brian Petruzzi, 1000 Degrees CEO and founder. "I'm confident that we serve the best hand-tossed Neapolitan pizza in the area and provide an unparalleled customer experience that will keep people coming back for more."
