Fast Casual is the term used to describe restaurants that offer a fast casual type of service model. We base it on four factors:
-Price point: It is higher than standard fast food menus ($8-$15)
-Food: It’s chef driven with menus often embracing trends early.
-Atmosphere: It feels and looks more upscale to encourage patrons to linger. Fast casuals often are early adopters of technology and/or sustainable food practices
-Service style: No servers (orders must be placed at the counter, drive-thru or via app, kiosk/tablet or online. Guests can order in, carry out and can sometimes choose delivery as an option. )
