San Francisco-based grilled cheese purveyor The Melt announced the addition of burger melts, chicken melts, russet potato fries and mac & cheese to its menu, along with a new wine platform. The new items will be available at all of The Melt stores by Thanksgiving.

The Melt's new menu items include; an original burger melt, spicy mission burger melt, double bacon BBQ burger melt, a Caesar spinach bird chicken melt, 'shroom chicken melt, Buffalo chicken melt and a truffle grilled cheese melt. New side offerings include trio macaroni & cheese, T-Mac truffle fontina macaroni & cheese, naked fries with Melt Spice and well dressed fries with aged cheeses, crumbled bacon and crispy onions.

"Our founding mission was to serve happiness to families through 100 percent all-natural, wholesome American classics," said Chairperson and CEO Jonathan Kaplan in a company press release. "We're thrilled that our new menu is the evolution of our mission to ensure American families can enjoy the foods they love while also being good for you."

In addition to The Melt's local craft beer selection, the company is adding a new wine program offering including: Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Cabernet Sauvignon and a red blend from winemakers such as Beringer, Coppola, Justin, Robert Mondavi, Santa Margherita and more.

The Melt will also roll out in-store ordering kiosks and digital displays this month.
