Newk’s to open fourth Little Rock restaurant Aug. 31

Newk's Eatery is expanding its Arkansas presence.

Newk’s Eatery will open a fourth Little Rock restaurant on Aug. 31. The new restaurant will be located at 11610 Pleasant Ridge Road, Suite 100, a company press release stated. 

"At Newk’s, we’re passionate about making great food," Newk’s Eatery CEO and Co-Founder Chris Newcomb said. "We create our menu items from scratch using fresh, high-quality ingredients, bringing in many ingredients from around the globe to deliver truly authentic, flavorful food experiences for our guests. With Little Rock being such a foodie city, it’s a perfect fit for Newk’s."

Newk’s upcoming Little Rock location will be the sixth Newk’s Eatery in the state, the release stated. As part of a large-scale growth plan to expand from its more than 80 locations in 13 states, to more than 200 units by the end of 2018, Jackson, Miss.-based Newk’s has plans to boost its Arkansas presence to at least a dozen restaurants.

"Arkansas is an important piece of the puzzle, serving as a gateway for us as we look to expand the Newk’s brand from the Southeast into the lower Midwest," Newcomb said. "We’re particularly thrilled to increase density in Little Rock—right in the heart of Arkansas."

Newk’s new location off Cantrell Road will offer indoor dining for 154 guests and patio dining for nearly 30 more in its roughly 4,770-square-foot space.
