Richmond Times-Dispatch: A one-legged bank robber in a wheelchair headed to Penn Station East Coast Subs for a bite after he was left stranded by his accomplice, who drove off without him after the heist.
The caper unfolded Jan. 20 at the SunTrust branch, where a man in a wheelchair gave a teller a note demanding money, police said. He then made his way across a parking lot to the sub shop, where employees thought he was just another customer.
