West Palm Beach,FL - based Italian Oven Cafe opened in September 2008. The West Palm Beach flagship location is 3,400 square feet and seats 120 guests.
The concept’s menu is based on the Mediterranean diet, rich in olive oil, fruits, nuts, vegetables grains and seafood. Menu items consist of pizza, pasta and salads among an assortment of starters and panini.
The Italian Oven Cafe interior consists of comfortable chairs for more relaxed seating. Executives expected the restaurant’s first-year revenue to hit $1.7 million with an average check of $9.50.
A favorite menu item is the Heirloom Tomato Tower, featuring fresh mozzarella, basil, field greens, sea salt, extra virgin olive oil and a balsamic glaze.
In addition to lounge-style chairs, guests can sit outside on a patio area. The restaurant employs an outdoor self-ordering kiosk for guests in addition to Web-based and text messaging capabilities.
Panini menu options consist of the Grilled Tuscan Chicken, featuring fresh mozzarella, tomato, crispy onion and artichoke lemon pesto; and the Classic Italian, featuring Italian ham, soppresotta, provolone, arugula and olive herb aioli.
Beverages such as espresso and cappuccino are served at the Italian Oven Cafe. Guests also can choose from a wide selection of beer and wine.

The Italian Oven Cafe’s interior features warm tones of red, tan and brown, and a variety of seating options. The restaurant’s first concept development location was opened in Pittsburgh more than four years ago.
