All the contents in this store were related to espresso: There were no Frappuccinos or drip coffee, only espresso, said Norio Adachi, director
corporate affairs of Starbucks Coffee Japan.
The store, designed as a coffee library, included tall shelves containing book sleeves. Inside, customers found information about the history and properties of their chosen coffee.
Although this store was only open for a few weeks, all of the other stores are allowing customers to pay 500 yen and learn how to create the perfect cup of espresso.
