The company’s Yukon Gold Waffle Fries are available December through February. Prices for the Yukon Gold fries are slightly higher than another seasonal item, Sweet Potato Fries, and range from $1.69 for a small to $5.89 for a large.
Another seasonal Burgerville menu item is Sweet Potato Fries, available September through November. Burgerville partners with regional businesses that share its values of fresh, local and sustainable.
A seasonal menu item at Burgerville is Walla Walla Sweet Onion Rings, available in July and August. Burgerville has no other onion ring product on its menu, so the Walla Walla, Wash., onion product attracts customers during its limited time.
Burgerville offers traditional milkshakes as well as seasonal flavors. Prices for the seasonal shakes are $1 more than traditional milkshakes. Flavors range from Chocolate Hazelnut, to fresh berries and others.
Regular menu items also have locally sourced ingredients, such as the Tillamook brand cheddar cheese used in the Tillamook Burger. The burger is made with local supplier Country Natural Beef's vegetarian-fed and antibiotic-free ground beef.
Burgerville also offers monthly limited-time-only menu offerings based on seasonal ingredients. The brand introduced a seasonal burger, the Yukon & White Bean Basil Burger in February 2009.
An important component of Burgerville’s in-store marketing program is explaining its sustainability efforts. The goal is to let customers know about seasonal, local products, and the recycling program in all 39 stores.
