Foodservice Equipment Testing and Validation

Food Technical Consulting (FTC) has a stellar reputation for new foodservice equipment innovation, selection, and testing. Team members led the development of an innovative new patented rotisserie cooking platform that a Top 10 QSR restaurant chain continues to use 10 years later. FTC has partnered with major energy companies like The Southern Company and Georgia Power to conduct structured equipment food tests that measure food quality, equipment performance, and determine lifetime ownership cost using NAFEM (National Association of Foodservice Equipment Manufacturers) and ASTM costing models. We also partner with the leading national equipment testing laboratory for Energy Star™ testing and certification. Once the equipment selection and testing process has been completed, FTC continue to manage and monitor all final phase field testing to insure field performance meets the functional equipment requirements.

FTC uses its own trademarked “FastTrac™ Equipment Selection & Testing Process” to determine our clients equipment needs, then writes Requests for Information (RFI) and Functional Requirements Specifications (FRS) so the equipment can be competitively sourced through multiple manufactures to insure the lowest purchase cost. To meet this business goal, we have partnered with the largest U.S. foodservice equipment distributor to select and source equipment at the lowest volume discount price. We participated with a Top 10 QSR chain to reduce overall equipment purchased pricing almost 50% below previous costs.
