Zoes Kitchen rolls out take-home tubs

Zoës Kitchen has introduced its Zoes Fresh Take, a collection of easy-to-make recipes that utilize the restaurant's most popular sides and salads.

Zoës Fresh Take tubs include hummus, seasonal fruit salad, pasta salad, potato salad, chicken salad, marinated slaw and pimento cheese. The featured recipes use Zoës Fresh Take tubs as key ingredients for dinner, parties and snack time. Zoës Fresh Take tubs are now available in the restaurant's cooler section in all 62 locations. From now through Sept. 3, guests can receive one free tub with the purchase of two tubs of any kind.

"Zoës Fresh Take tubs are a long-time favorite of our guests who enjoy our signature sides as a meal on-the-go, for a wholesome snack or for entertaining," said Rachel Phillips-Luther, vice president of marketing for Zoes Kitchen.

Zoës will release a series of original Fresh Take recipes that can be downloaded online and through a quick response (QR) code in stores. Guests can pick up tubs of the featured ingredient from Zoës' coolers and create the Fresh Take recipe for their family and friends at home. All of the recipes follow Zoës' Mediterranean inspired menu. Among the first recipes is a Mediterranean Layered Hummus Dip.

Additional featured recipes include a Pasta Bake, Chicken Salad Casserole, Breakfast Hash, Pimento Cheese Biscuits, Fish Tacos with Slaw, Pimento Cheeseburger and, for the kids, Fruit Kabobs & Peachy Dip. 

The Pasta Bake and Fruit Kabobs & Peachy Dip recipes also will be featured on a video demonstration from Zoes' director of food and beverage, Kyle Frederick. The video can be viewed at www.ZoesKitchen.com or at www.Facebook.com/ZoesKitchen

Zoës ' Facebook fans are invited to share their Fresh Take on Zoës' tubs by creating their own recipes. Fans who share their Fresh Take recipes could win a trip to Zoës Kitchen's headquarters in Birmingham, Ala., to prepare their creation for the company's executive team and local chefs. One grand prize winner will receive Zoës for a year and a featured spot for their recipe in every location. Fans can enter now through Aug. 13 by submitting their recipe at Facebook.com/ZoesKitchen.  

Fans who repin their favorite Fresh Take recipe on Pinterest and tag @ZoesKitchen in the description will be entered into a weekly drawing for a $100 Zoes Kitchen gift card. The pinning contest takes place through Aug. 27 at Pinterest.com/ZoesKitchen.
