Saladworks to open in Scottsdale

Dec. 14, 2012

Saladworks is opening its first location in the state of Arizona, just off the Southeast corner of Route 101 and North Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard in Scottsdale.

The unit opens Dec. 19 and will offer $5 salads to all customers on both the 19th and 20th.

Unlike other Saladworks locations, the Scottsdale store will also offer a selection of beer, wine and a full frozen yogurt bar in addition to the regular Saladworks menu. The franchisee is Jim Riggs, a New Jersey native who has lived in Scottsdale for 20 years. Breanna Davis, an Arizona native and a 10-year restaurant industry veteran, will run the store.

"Arizona is the perfect place for Saladworks," said chairman and CEO John Scardapane. "We're prepared to deliver the ultimate in health-conscious dining to the people of Phoenix, and we're confident that Breanna Davis and her team are going to deliver the fanatical experience that is the hallmark of Saladworks' name. They are an excellent addition to our team."
