Lemon pepper tuna is back at Togo's 250 units and is available through May 28. The sandwich returns as a hot melt or a cold sandwich and features 100-percent Albacore Tuna seasoned with tangy lemon, crackled black pepper, diced celery and red onions. The Lemon Pepper Tuna Melt is topped with melted cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, tomato, red onions, pickles and pepperoncinis on toasted San Francisco-style Sourdough bread. The Lemon Pepper Tuna Classic is served on classic white bread and stuffed with lemon pepper tuna with shredded lettuce, tomato, red onions, pickles and pepperoncinis.
"Togo's guests continue to get hooked again on our lemon pepper tuna, which is why we continue to bring it back year after year," said Renae Scott, vice president of branding and marketing at Togo's Eateries Inc. "It's a popular item for guests looking for non-meat alternatives during Lent or for those who just crave a tasty, fresh seafood sandwich."
Togo's lemon pepper tuna sandwiches are available in mini classic, 6-inch, 9-inch and 24-inch family sizes, starting at $3.
Togo's has also launched salad wraps; any of the chain's salads are now also available as a wrap on whole wheat or spinach wraps. The wraps start at $5.50.
