FreshBerry opens unit No. 40

Beautiful Brands International has announced the opening of its 40th FreshBerry Self-Serve Frozen Yogurt store. The new store, located in Charlotte, N.C., is one of five new stores to open within the last two weeks for BBI. The other four are in Miami, South Dakota, and Venezuela.

Of the new openings, FreshBerry’s Rapid City, S.D., store, which is a co-branded concept with SmallCakes A Cupcakery, had the highest opening sales of any FreshBerry Frozen Yogurt Cafes to date and continues to be its highest grossing location companywide. FreshBerry anticipates this same success with 45 new stores in the pipeline being built in North Carolina, South Carolina, California, South Dakota, North Dakota, Florida, UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and the island of Mauritius within the next 12 months.

The FreshBerry concept opened its first store in Tulsa, Okla., in 2008, and offers 70 premium rotating flavors. FreshBerry also features a smoothie bar, yogurt by the pint or quart, and FreshPops.
