Fatburger goes mobile

Fatburger fans can now place orders on their PCs and smartphones at fatburgertogo.com. The better-burger chain is using technology from OLO to run the mobile and online ordering platform, according to a company press release.

The OLO platform allows customers, on-the-go, to easily view and order from the restaurant's full menu, repeat previous or saved favorite orders, pay securely via credit card, and confirm a time and date of pick-up. Also, when fans order online they can collect their orders without waiting in line, Thayer Wiederhorn, Fatburger's VP of marketing, said in the release.

"Though technology is constantly evolving, we continue to hold true to our roots and provide our loyal patrons with the same fresh, big, juicy, made to order burgers that we've been serving since 1952," he said.

Though the new fatburgertogo.com service was designed specifically for Fatburger customers, dozens of other restaurant brands use OLO's mobile and online ordering platform. The self-service ordering platform links directly to each restaurant's point of sale system, so customers can trust their orders will be accurate and ready upon their arrival to the store.

"This new service is consistent with Fatburger's high-quality, convenient and fun brand," said Noah Glass, OLO founder and CEO. "We think customers that have been loyal to the brand for the past 60 years will love this new convenience, which is personalized for them and easy to use."
