Envysion wins Red Herring award

Jan. 8, 2012

Envysion Inc., a provider of Managed Video as a Service (MVaaS), has announced that it has been selected as the winner of the Red Herring Global 100 award in recognition of the leading private companies from North America, Europe and Asia. The Red Herring's Global 100 list has become a mark of distinction for identifying the world's most promising companies and entrepreneurs.

Envysion's MVaaS solution transforms video surveillance into a strategic video-driven business intelligence tool. This unfiltered visual context enables businesses to improve decision making and drive 10 percent to 15 percent improvements in profitability.

Envysion works with brands such as Qdoba, Garden Fresh, Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill and Bombay Bowl.

"Choosing the best out of the previous two years was by no means a small feat," said Alex Vieux, chairman of Red Herring. "After rigorous contemplation and discussion, we narrowed down our list from 1,100 potential companies to 100 winners. It was an extremely difficult process. Envysion should be extremely proud of its achievement; the competition for the Top 100 was fierce. The Top 100 Global are truly the best of the best."

Red Herring evaluated the companies on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technology innovation, management quality, strategy and market penetration. This assessment of potential is complemented by a review of the track record and standing of startups relative to their sector peers.

"Envysion is honored to be selected as a winner of the Red Herring Top 100 Global award," said Matt Steinfort, president and CEO of Envysion. "This distinction demonstrates the tremendous global growth potential for MVaaS solutions and recognizes Envysion's leading position and ability to drive tremendous customer impact through powerful video-driven business intelligence."
