Caribou Coffee Company, the second largest company-owned premium coffeehouse operator in the United States based on the number of coffeehouses, opened its latest location today on downtown Denver's pedestrian promenade on 16th Street between Champa and Curtis.
The coffeehouse is Caribou's 11th retail location in Colorado.
"We are very excited about the new downtown Caribou and our brand's growing presence in The Mile-High City," said Alfredo Martel, senior vice president of marketing and product management. "With the busy holiday season underway, we hope the Denver community will take a break to enjoy their new local Caribou in our comfortable new coffeehouse location."
Shoppers may stop by the new location to purchase stocking stuffers and gift sets from Caribou's 2012 holiday collection, or its signature Reindeer Blend for the coffee lovers in their lives.
Denver-area fans may also enjoy Caribou's new seasonal handcrafted beverages, the Salted Caramel Budino or Salted Caramel Mocha — both made with real caramel.
To celebrate the opening of its newest location with the local community, Caribou has launched a special mobile text-to-win sweepstakes and will reward one winner with a $100 Caribou Coffee gift card. Fans may text DENVER to 65017 for a chance to win. Caribou will name one sweepstakes winner for the new location. Entries will be accepted between now and Jan. 12.
This Friday marks two decades of serving coffee for Caribou. It will celebrate by selling a special Anniversary Blend, featuring the original Caribou Blend recipe, along with a limited-edition anniversary mug and stainless steel tumbler, all available for purchase in stores and online through January.
