Caribou opens another unit in Chicago suburb

Minnesota-based Caribou Coffee Company opened its newest Chicago-area location Dec. 1 in the Northwest suburb of Long Grove, Ill.

The new coffeehouse, located in the Sunset Grove development at 4196 IL Route 83, Suite A, features a drive-thru window for fans to grab coffee or food on-the-go but also has space for thoses wanting to order and/or enjoy their coffee in the store.

To celebrate the opening of the new location, Caribou has a special mobile text-to-win sweepstakes, and will reward one lucky winner with a $100 Caribou gift card. To participate, fans can simply text LONGGROVE to the short code 65017 for a chance to win. Caribou will name one sweepstakes winner for the new location, and participants must be residents of Illinois. Entries will be accepted until Jan. 1.

Holiday drinks

The chain has also launched its signature holiday beverages, including the Ho Ho Mint Mocha, the Fa La Latte, the Salted Caramel Budino and Salted Caramel Mocha drinks.
