FranConnect is now working with Caribou Coffee Company to drive higher performance productivity and facilitate systems for all franchisees and licensees, according to a company press release.
Caribou is implementing FranConnect's tools, including Franchise Operations, Franchise Intranet, Financial Data Collection and Dashboards. As a result, the coffee chain hopes to enhance the brand's data management and information exchange, said Darren Miles, senior director of Operations at Caribou Coffee.
"FranConnect's leadership in innovative franchise technology solutions will provide us with the resources needed to build stronger and more interactive business solutions which we'll implement Q1 of 2014 for increased system-wide support," he said in the release.
The platforms, Miles said, will improve the efficiency of distributing materials relevant to the franchise base.
"By focusing on providing more communication efficiencies, we can improve the long-term advancement and future efficiency of the Caribou Coffee brand," he said.
In addition to having more effective communication channels between franchisees, headquarters, suppliers and field personnel, FranConnect's solutions will allow Caribou to organize and manage all internal information related to franchisees, while analyzing company trends, data mining and critical information all in one system to significantly drive and improve franchise capabilities, Miles said. By creating and publishing dashboards, the company will move to a new level of transparency and uncover key insights formerly hidden in the masses of data. The program will accurately track reported sales figures, and the company will be able to better yield and execute on valuable financial data gathered from its 260-plus franchise and licensed locations worldwide, Miles said.
