ROCKVILLE, Md. — California Tortilla began a new initiative to reward loyal customers for getting their friends to try the brand. Any Burrito Elito cardholder that brings in a friend can earn 10 bonus points on their card. Points add up to Burrito Bucks, which can be spent at the restaurant.
To redeem the points, a cardholder must take a picture with their card and their friend at any California Tortilla restaurant. That picture can be e-mailed to mdoney@californiatortilla.com, uploaded to the company's Facebook page or sent via Twitter (@caltort). In addition to the photo, the Burrito Elito number listed on the card must be included in the message.
Only one bonus can be added for each card, and photos must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. on March 17.
The Buddy promotion is an addition to the company's current "Double Points" promotion for Burrito Elito members. All purchases (except for catering and gift cards) through March 15 earn twice the number of points.
