DALLAS — Pollo Campero opened its 50th U.S. location in Boston last week.
 
With its first location in New England, the chain achieved one of its strongest-ever opening week sales with customer lines continuing past midnight on opening night and until 4 a.m. over the weekend.
 
"This strong response in New England demonstrates how much consumers everywhere truly love our chicken," said Roberto Denegri, president and chief operating officer of Campero USA.  "With recent store openings in Miami, Phoenix, Atlanta and now Boston, we continue to be thankful for the exceptional response we receive from consumers across the country."
