ATLANTA — Planet Smoothie has announced its partnership with Sambazon, the acai global leader, to launch three new smoothie flavors in a limited-time offer: Amazon Energy, Amazon Cherry and Jungle Fruit Fuzion.
Amazon Energy is made with Sambazon's Amazon Cherry and organic Acai Berry "Amazon Energy" Drink, which is 100 percent natural. The beverage is loaded with Vitamin C and rich in antioxidants, and is enhanced with the rainforest botanicals guarana and yerba mate. Planet Smoothie is the first smoothie concept to launch the Amazon Energy smoothie.
Amazon Cherry has 10 times the amount of Vitamin C in orange juice with less sugar. Its antioxidant power boosts immunity and combats stress.
Jungle Fruit Fuzion contains two Amazon superfruits, acai and Amazon Cherry. The smoothie contains two times the antioxidants of blueberries and 10 times the amount of Vitamin C found in orange juice.
All three creations are available for a limited time, from July 1 through October, at all participating Planet Smoothie locations.
Planet Smoothie also is expanding this promotion outside its locations with the use of Facebook and Twitter. Throughout the limited-time offer, Planet Smoothie will be offering followers and fans the opportunity to win free smoothies and to play interactive games testing the knowledge of acai.
