Growth Concepts, an Orange County, Calif.-based restaurant investment group led by Baja Fresh CEO David Kim, has acquired Atlanta-based Canyons Burger Co.
 
The brand focuses on fresh, high quality ingredients wrapped around an active outdoor lifestyle. Canyons uses 100 percent fresh Black Angus Beef in its line of specialty burgers. Additionally, the restaurant offers several vegetarian options and serves white meat hand-battered chicken tenders that are cooked to order.
 
Founders Sonny Crumpton and Nick Binnings, will maintain their positions of president and chief operating officer, respectively.
