Elephants Delicatessen implements MonkeyCatering

MonkeyMedia Software, a provider of web-based solutions for the QSR and fast casual restaurant segment, has announced that Portland, Ore.-based Elephants Delicatessen has selected MonkeyCatering to enable end-to-end control over the chain's catering business. The Elephants Delicatessen in-store and catering menus feature locally inspired soups, sandwiches and baked goods prepared daily from scratch. MonkeyCatering centralized platform will manage orders for all five locations, minimizing up-front capital expenses and enabling economies of scale. Each location will access its own detailed production information and customer data for more efficient execution; from receiving the order to producing it, packaging it and delivering it to the customer. With MonkeyCatering providing a centralized management platform, store managers will have more time to engage in higher-level, customer-focused activities. At the same time, headquarters personnel can take advantage of better reporting and real-time visibility to enable better decision making. This will allow Elephants Delicatessen to be more responsive to customer needs and the changing business environment. "MonkeyCatering will give us all the tools we need to run a more efficient and profitable catering operation from order to delivery, on a single easy-to-use platform," said Anne Weaver, president of Elephants Delicatessen.
