MonkeyMedia Software, a provider of web-based solutions for the QSR and fast casual restaurant segment, has announced that Portland, Ore.-based Elephants Delicatessen has selected MonkeyCatering to enable end-to-end control over the chain's catering business. The Elephants Delicatessen in-store and catering menus feature locally inspired soups, sandwiches and baked goods prepared daily from scratch. MonkeyCatering centralized platform will manage orders for all five locations, minimizing up-front capital expenses and enabling economies of scale. Each location will access its own detailed production information and customer data for more efficient execution; from receiving the order to producing it, packaging it and delivering it to the customer. With MonkeyCatering providing a centralized management platform, store managers will have more time to engage in higher-level, customer-focused activities. At the same time, headquarters personnel can take advantage of better reporting and real-time visibility to enable better decision making. This will allow Elephants Delicatessen to be more responsive to customer needs and the changing business environment.
