Nashville residents Daniel and Olivia Sarratt McCarthy have signed a development deal to open Freshii locations there over the next few years.

The couple moved to Nashville from Los Angeles after spending more than a decade in the film industry.

"A friend knew I was looking to start a business and turned me on to Freshii. When I went to Chicago to see Freshii for myself, all the stores were completely packed, my lunch was quick and delicious and I knew right away Freshii will do particularly well in Nashville," Dan McCarthy said in a news release. "With a population of over a million, the culture is based on family values and the message of health, sustainability, and locally supplied produce will be extremely well received and supported."
