According to an article in The Boston Globe, a Qdoba franchise group in Boston owes the city tens of thousands of dollars in unpaid taxes, has closed several underperforming locations and now is being sued by one of its suppliers.

Qdoba has failed to pay more than $81,000 to the city of Boston for real estate and personal property taxes at four locations, including $45,507 for its shop at 17 Forsyth Street by Northeastern University, according to Lisa Signori, Boston's chief financial officer.
Over the past year, Qdoba has closed restaurants in Brookline and Shrewsbury, and on Friday, food service distributor Agar Supply Inc. filed a lawsuit in Norfolk Superior Court against Chair5 Holdings LLC, the Wellesley franchise group that runs local Qdoba stores.
In 2009, the company signed a deal with the Boston Red Sox and Boston Blazers Lacrosse team. Both declined comment for The Boston Globe article.
