To build its newest store, American Roadside demolished a service station on the corner of East McBee Avenue and South Irvine Street in Downtown Greenville, S.C. The building was unsuitable for renovation into a restaurant, so the company is building its first new freestanding store, said Rich LaVecchia, CEO of American Roadside Burgers.
American Roadside opened its first South Carolina location in Columbia earlier this year, and Greenville will follow in late Spring 2013. The company has one location in Smithtown, N.Y., and two in Charlotte, N.C., where it is headquartered.
The flex-casual chain offers diner-style options, including the Sterling Silver Premium beef burgers, chicken, salads, fries, onion rings and milkshakes, and it also serves beer and wine.
