To tout the new Boneless Wings at Zaxby's, the chain has enlisted actor and comedian David Allen Grier and actor and musician Waylon Payne to appear in five TV commercials that began airing this week.
As part of the chain's "Indescribably Good" advertising campaign, Zaxby's will feature the talent of Grier, known for his role on the television show "In Living Color," and Payne, known for his role in the film "Walk the Line." The commercials are airing in 48 markets throughout the chain's 13-state operating area. Keeping with tradition, Zaxby's more than 560,000 Facebook fans received an exclusive look at the spots prior to TV broadcast at facebook.com/zaxbys.
"We know our guests are passionate about flavor and they also want variety," said Zach McLeroy, CEO and co-founder of Zaxby's. "Our Boneless Wings Meal gives guests the opportunity to enjoy our highly craveable chicken and nine sauces in a new way, every day."
The Boneless Wings Meal combines five Boneless Wings, celery and creamy Ranch with Crinkle Fries and a 22-ounce beverage. Guests can order their Boneless Wings smothered in their choice of nine sauces including Wimpy, Original, Tongue Torch, Nuclear, Insane, Hot Honey Mustard, Teriyaki, Sweet & Spicy and BBQ. The Boneless Wings can also be ordered a la carte or as one of the chain's varieties of Party Platterz.
