5-Spice Asian Street Market, a 6-year-old fast casual restaurant in Boca Raton, Fla., is now offering franchise opportunities to qualified applicants.
"Our loyal clientele really enjoy, and tell their family and friends about, the wide variety of delicious Asian dishes they can only find here. It's a buzz you can hear all around South Florida. They come from near and far expecting to find unique and special dishes at very reasonable prices," said one of the founders and Chief Concept Officer Melissa Leung, who was born in Vietnam and lived in several other Asian countries before settling in the U.S.
Technomic, an industry leading research firm, believes the fast casual Asian cluster is still relatively untapped on a national level and has potential for major growth over the next decade. The Asian category only covers 1.7 percent of the total sales of the top 500 chains.

In 2013, 5-Spice Asian Street Market anticipates expanding throughout Palm Beach, Broward and Dade Counties in Florida with stores typically operated by a team of 15 to 20 employees.
