Beautiful Brands International is opening its 20th FreshBerry Frozen Yogurt Cafe in the Middle East as well as a fifth store in Venezuela. That brings the global total to 49 open stores. “These openings really demonstrate the appeal of our product as a leading global brand,” said David Rutkauskas, Beautiful Brands founder, president and CEO.
“We were blown away by the opening day sales of $11,000 at our new store in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, making it the best opening day of any FreshBerry opening since 2008. Our launches continue to be successful in these regions and are boosting FreshBerry’s exposure on a worldwide stage.”
Rutkauskas hopes to continue the growth of the FreshBerry brand with eight more stores openings in these regions by the end of the year, three in the Middle East and five more in Venezuela.
FreshBerry also has its sights on key market segments in Asia, such as China and India. The concept, which opened its first store in Tulsa, Okla., in 2008, offers 70 premium rotating all natural fro-yo flavors with toppings ranging from strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, and other fruits to Fruity Pebbles cereal, granola, toasted almonds, coconut and chocolate chips. FreshBerry also features a smoothie bar, yogurt by the pint or quart and FreshPops.
