Pie Five Pizza has awarded its first two franchise development agreements and will introduce its fast-casual custom pizza concept in Utah and North Carolina.
The chain awarded two multi-unit franchise development agreements with rights to open and operate up to 18 locations across Utah and in Charlotte, N.C. Development will begin in 2013, as Pie Five continues to expand the chain through corporate-owned locations and franchise development in major markets.

"We've built a strong network of eight company-owned stores to prove the business model works, and now we're ready to take fast-casual pizza to a whole new level. While we will continue to develop company-owned locations, we are ready to partner with franchisees to expand this incredible concept on a large scale and grow our fan base exponentially.
